First Friday Art Walk: Inspiration – Four Seasons at Perry-Mansfield

PAST EVENT
Location: Tread of Pioneers Museum
800 Oak St. Steamboat Springs
Cost: Free

While the current County mask mandate has been lifted for businesses, masks can still be required for entry by each individual business. Since masks are still recommended for unvaccinated individuals including children, and we do not know who has been vaccinated, we erring on the side of caution and are still requiring masks for the museum and our programs/events.

“Inspiration – Four Seasons at Perry-Mansfield” is a collaborative exhibit showcasing the artwork of Chula Beauregard at the Tread of Pioneers Museum. Award-winning artist Beauregard created her work during a year of artistic study at the century-old Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp outside of Steamboat Springs, CO. The artist’s pieces capture the pulse of the camp, its historic buildings, and the magnificent surroundings and details. Complimenting these artistic interpretations are historic materials from the museum collection and Perry-Mansfield to illuminate the founders’ original vision for the camp: “Creative practice through art and nature manifests in an insightful, compassionate and courageous life”.

Exhibit opens August 6, 2021 for First Friday Artwalk at the Tread of Pioneers Museum, 800 Oak St. in Steamboat Springs, CO. Runs through Jan. 31, 2022.

Talk with the artist and Perry-Mansfield historian and author, Dagny McKinley on Aug. 27 at noon at the Tread of Pioneers Museum.
